Khalsa Credit Union provides financial support to community based, non-profit and charitable organizations in our communities that align with our values.
We are determined to support local community groups and foundations that specifically address the immediate concerns of those in need by providing essential items such as medical supplies, food donations and clothing.
KCU is pleased to be affiliated with many groups and organizations. Our employees invests their time and money in various initiatives. We volunteer and play an integral role in fulfilling our mission and are prepared to support the community.
KCU recognizes that not-for-profit organizations and grass-roots community groups play a vital role in building financially healthy communities by providing programs and services that contribute to economic stability, social cohesion and environmental sustainability. KCU will welcome partnerships with other like-minded organizations and groups to leave lasting legacies.
In order to bolster KCU’s support to the non-profit and community sector we offer annual Community Partnership Funds. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee carefully reviews each application to ensure that funding decisions are consistent with KCU’s values and principles.

Please note all donation requests will be reviewed and but only those that align with our values and mission statements will be considered.
All donation requests should be made three (3) months in advance of the date the funds are required.
Shelters are critical to helping the homeless, especially during the cold winter months. Over the past few months, Khalsa Credit Union has been visiting homeless shelters throughout Metro Vancouver to provide blankets, mittens, jackets, gloves, toques and other warm clothing.

In celebration and in recognition of the 550th Birth Anniversary and in keeping with the teachings of Guru Nanak Devji of service to humanity, Khalsa Credit Union, in partnership with Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen, planted 550 trees at both Second Narrows Park in Burnaby and Hazelnut Park in Surrey.
