Our three primary organizational focuses include:
Our members are the reason we exist. We work hard to help our members achieve the financial future they desire.
A healthy financial future also requires a healthy planet. Working side-by-side with our members, we will protect our cherished planet.
Prosperity for members and the community is our fundamental focus. However, prosperity will not be blindly pursued at the expense of people and the planet.
In 2019 we donated a significant amount to support various community-based, non-profit and charitable organizations and funded variety of projects that have lasting positive impact in our community including various local food banks and homeless shelters
In honour of the 550th anniversary of the birth of Guru Nanak Dev ji, Khalsa Credit Union in collabration with Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen and the City of Surrey planted 550 trees at Hazelnut Meadows Park. In partnership with the City of Burnaby, we planted an additional 550 trees at Second Narrows Park.
We would like to thank our members for allowing us to support various community endeavours by donating 10% of our net income. In previous years, KCU has supported food banks and homeless shelters, as well as youth throughscholarships and bursaries.
