$25,000 donation to BC Children's Hospital Foundation

Khalsa Credit Union made a donation of $ 25,000 to support mental health initiatives at BC Children's Hospital. As a Credit Union based co-operative principles and Sikh faith, we are actively involved in giving back to communities in may ways throughout the year. Our goal in to help many children and families as possible in the province.

Donations of PPE for frontline workers in the Lower Mainland

As Personal Protective Equipment has become vital for frontline workers to battle the ongoing pandemic, KCU donated over 10,000 items of PPE including masks from our first aid supplies to various hospitals and community organizations in British Columbia

Our Commitment to the Environment

Celebrating our culture by supporting the environment

In honour of the 550th Anniversary of the birth of Guru Nanak Dev ji, Khalsa Credit Union in collabration with Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen and City of Surrey planted 550 trees at Hazelnut Meadows Park. We also planted 550 trees in partnership with City of Burnaby at Second Narrows Park.

$50,000 donation to Khalsa Aid

KCU made a significant donation of $50,000 to recognise the work of Ravi Singh and Khalsa Aid International. Khalsa Aid has been and continues to be involved in providing  humanitarian relief regardless of borders, race or religion.

Our Commitment to the Environment

Donated Sugarcane Plates for Vaisakhi Celebrations 

In keeping with our historical agriculture roots in the Punjab Region of India and the tenets of the Sikh faith to provide free food (langar) combined with selfless service, we donated food and 100,000 plates for the Vaisakhi Parades in Surrey and Vancouver.

KCU made a donation of $30,000 to the Manmeet Singh Bhullar Foundation. This Foundation is committed to empowering people to unite, inspire, and serve around the world.
